Actually I can't even change the status of the bug report. As is I doubt
anybody would even care about the fact that a fix is available. Too bad.
It means that Natty users will be left out of luck.

I realise that this is not the best way to do it, but apparently for me
it's the only way. I just reopened the bug because it still affects
Natty. A patch is included.

Would someone please add a bug request for Gwyddion for Natty? The patch
is attached, but i cannot find a way to specify the bug is still open
for natty.

Attached a patch (and debdiff) that disables global menus, at least
until a more permanent fix will be implemented upstream (the discussion
on the gwyddion main forum is active on this topic, but no clear
direction has been taken yet). The patch, although temporary, at least
makes Gwyddion usable a
