Somewhat related to this, should there really be two omap3 hwpacks? Why
not just have one and include the best choice in drivers?
Also agree on the removal of xserver-xorg-video-omap3 until fixed.

Fathi, should we remove the xserver-xorg-video-omap3 package from
omap3-x11-base hwpack until this bug is fixed? The user will end up with
a broken xserver when using the omap3 x11 driver.

Tested with latest omapfb available (http://gitweb.pingu.fi/?p=xf86
-video-omapfb.git;a=summary) and was still able to reproduce the issue.
While testing with Unity-2d the behavior is weird, as at the first
moment the display is fine, but then it seems that the Unity-2d is
redraw and then the error
