@Seth, your right, there was something different on my system.
I uninstalled version 2.5.3 and installed 2.4.13, and still could not
reproduce the bug, and then I got to thinking, I was using xjigmanager,
not the shell.
I tried from the shell, and yes, a crash every time. I can't think why it
