lirc not working, irw empty, irrecord no gap found
The last lirc update 0.9.4 more or less obsoletes this bug since this
kind of configuration doesn't take place. In order to verify this bug we
need some testing on the latest version.
If you are still interested in this bug, please provide some feedback
from testing with 0.9.4c- Otherwise, without
Lirc does not correctly work after upgrading to 11.04.

If I run
lircd --driver=dev/input --device=/dev/input/by-path/pci-:00:1d.7-event-ir
--nodaemon
lircd-0.8.7[3455]: lircd(devinput) ready, using /var/run/lirc/lircd
I have no other output... and irw, is showing no output aswell
