root directory is shown.

In addition, when typing something like:
"file://" + [anything not starting with "/"] + "/some_existing_dir"
the user ends up in /some_existing_dir; so with "file://foobar/etc", firefox
shows you index of /etc but claims that it is the "Index of file://foobar/etc"
(which doesn't exist).

I can't edit anything, it just lets me browse the directory.
To me this seems like a kind of bad way of going about it, maybe it
would be better if firefox (or epiphany) told us that the file wasn't
there, and asked us if we wanted to find it. That might be better
I can confirm this on Edgy with Fx 2.0, however I think this may be a
feature to let you see your file, can you alter the root files in any
ways?
