I had exactly the same problem in a brand-new load of Gutsy (7.10). The
mozplugger and timidity were both loaded and.. no midi in Firefox.
The problem was: the plug-in data was not being rewritten from the original
Firefox file when mozplugger was loaded.

I have Feisty Fawn Ubuntu 7.04 and Firefox 2.0.0.3. Midi websites DO NOT WORK.
Firefox simply shows the bar "Additional Plugins are Required to display all
the media in this Page".
When you click on the bar to install the plugin, you get a message "No Suitable
plugins were found".

Hi,
I have almost exactly the same problem as the person who report this
bug, except I use Debian Sarge testing. The environment I use is Firefox
2.0.0.1 (Firefox is not modified version by Debian team), kernel 2.6.16.
I can use timidity (version: 2.13.2-7.1) to listen to midi file without

Thank you for the bug report, I cannot seem to reproduce this, it seems
to work perfectly fine for me, however there is a little delay sometimes
when downloading a new song..
There is a bug in ALSA, I think, that only allows your sound card to
output audio from one program at a time,
