KT is still announced as php4 compliant only.
I've found a post though saying that "KT 3.5 release is aimed
targetting PHP 5 and Mysql 5 specifically". Here:

I thought things were working until I tried adding a document. It
appears that there is probably a lot of cide that is not compatible with
PHP5.
I'll close this as it appears to be a waste of time trying to get it to
work under PHP5.
