This issue was reported against Ubuntu 11.04 which reached end of life
on October 28, 2012. (See this document for currently supported Ubuntu
releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases)
When I tried just now, toonloop installed without any problems on Ubuntu
12.04.
Are anyone still able to reprod
This bug affects me. Last comment was a couple of months ago - is it
likely that the maintainers will do something about this? I'd rather not
install from source.

Confirmed. I also got an error about missing libclutter-gst-0.10-0 when
attempting to install toonloop on Ubuntu Natty.
