It seems like the blur plugin sees the shadow as part of the window
decorator and tries to blur the background of it.

I check this in Ubuntu 12.04 with enabled Mipmap blur (because gaussian blur
don't work anymore)
And still have this problem. See attached screenshot.

I'm affected by the bug as well. The only difference in the compiz
settings is the gaussian_radius, which is 4 in my case (instead of 15).
I don't know if it matters, but I have a nVidia GeForce 8600M GS with
proprietary drivers.
