Hi Micha,
Sure, I'm using it for one of my production tool to get quotes:
/usr/bin/gnc-fq-dump yahoo ms
I need it to get various quotes for my own production system.
If there is an alternative, I'm fine with it - I just need a couple of
pointers.

needed in productive environment or whether it was designed for testing
purposes only.
