If you use the native b43 in Hardy, rather than using ndiswrapper, do
you have this problem? You can test it with a live cd, if you'd rather
not mess with an already-working system.

Edgy crashes when switching power supply on Asu
Apparently this was due to the buggy bcm43xx wifi driver. I've switched
to ndiswrpper and everything seems to be in order.
