Hi,
Today i tried the kernel from natty-proposed (version 2.6.38-9.43).
The system does not hang anymore but the networt is still not good.
I'm a daily user of teamspeak and it is unusable with this kernel (very good
with 2.6.35-28.50)

Similar problems in my system after upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04. Network
doesn't go up with the system startup. I need to replug the nic to USB
slot - then it starts instantly. Afterwards the connection is unstable
and slow. The system is stable though - no hangs or whatsoever. I attach

As a work around I use le last kernel from ubuntu 10.10 (just before update) it
works great for me. Maybe you can do the same

I tried another usb wifi adapter, it uses the RTL8192 kernel driver.
System is as stable as wifi connection is, but connection is horribly
slow.

My D-Link DWL-G122 is really slow in 11.04. Revert to 10.10 solved my problem.
Use ndiswrapper driver works also as workaround but then my system freeze.
