my connection is slow, so I didn't want to leave my netbook on for long time.
so I preferred to downloaded the kernel debs from my desktop and then move them
to the netbook through flash memory.

I downloaded these debs (i386)
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.39-rc4-natty/
and installed them using terminal (sudo dpkg -i)
and it works great now

This sounds like bug 768836 for which a fix exists but is unfortunately
not in the release version of natty. To get this fix you have to install
a newer kernel:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kernel-ppa/pre-prop
