After the basic install I got this dash(a desktop dash). I tried fix
this bug, I installed the dconf-tools, and I set in the netbook mode,
but nothing happens. However this command is fix it (i got a netbook
dash).But after a clear install i got a netbook dash in 1152x864.

- 1) Set the monitor resolution is 1150x864,
+ 1) Set the monitor resolution is 1152x864,
2) click the ubuntu icon on the top left corner,
3) and see, the dash is 'out the moni
Seems like you are getting the desktop dash mode instead of the netbook.
The code suggests(i believe) if the horizontal pixels are >1279 and
vertical pixels are >799 then the desktop mode should work. Are you sure
you did not use the command line option to override?
