Shouldn't /lib/systemd/system/spacenavd.service be transformed into a
user service using the new PartOf=graphical-session.target ?

To manage notificat
on Ubuntu 16.04
- symlinking root/.[X|ICE]authority with the user's, running 'xhost +' and
starting spacenavd manually with sudo gives the same results : unable to open
display.

This bug is still in 16.10 present and a systemd problem.
Because of this bug Freecad is not able to use 3d mouse.
Workaround (in terminal):
sudo service spacenavd stop
sudo /usr/bin/spacenavd -v -d
start freecad
The error message:
failed to open X11 display ":0.0"
results in the lack of the magel
