I can confirm this bug in K3B, GnomeBaker, AND Nautilus burner. It's
not just ISOs either. Even burning regular data fails.

I can confirm this bug with k3b 0.12.17-1ubuntu4 on feisty
To make it work, I unselected /usr/bin/X11/cdrecord from k3bsetup and now it
burns fine.
On feisty, /usr/bin/X11/cdrecord links to wodim
and
/usr/bin/cdrecord links to wodim in the same directory.
K3b stopped working after I upgraded cdr
Now it works after using the k3b setup dialog. I just confirmed the
standard settings there, hit burn and it burns.
It looks like k3b is not configured correctly upon installation. Maybe
this is due to the fact that the CD drive was powered off, which means
that /dev/cdrom was nonexistant.

I can confirm this bug on a Panasonic W4. Debug says file
/usr/bin/cdrecord cannot be found.
Removing k3b, cdrecord and wodim (--purge) and re-installing k3b does
not work. The problem seems to be a missing SCSI driver. What's wrong?
