I used to see this with gaim, but don't anymore with pidgin. Do you
still experience this problem? Please update.

I have what looks like the same bug in feisty. But it occurs when I
close banshee. I have the music applet loaded as well (it operates
banshee through dbus so I thought it was pertanent). There doesn't seem
to be much in .xsession-errors. Nothing in syslog either.Looking at
the ps -ef shows
