Unfortunatly I have overwritten the faulty executable with one compiled
by myself, simply install erlang / wings3d and it will probably seg for
you too...

it actually is a erlang problem...
the same as the other wings3d bug
given a simple download and compile of a tarball solved the problem,
its kinda shameful that the other bug has been open so long
not what I've come to expect for the otherwise excellent ubuntu!
wings3d is a great little modelle
