It turns out I made a mistake. I didn't realize that according to the spec, Space should activate Play/Pause *even if* Back/Forward was pointed at with a pointing device. That's why Play/Pause was being highlighted here. Specification updated.

Sorry I took way too long to look at this. This is a straightforward bug, not a design question. When you mouse over the Previous/Rewind or Next/Forward button, the Play/Pause button highlights. That makes no sense; the button you actually moused over should highlight. ** No longer affects: ayatan
