uhm currently i am unable to reproduce it anymore.. maybe unity or
compiz updates have changes something, or my setting were saved..

Bugs,
This is something that's always happened. Metacity and (I think) compiz
both leave it up to the apps themselves to remember their position and
size. I'll add an ayatan-design tag for evaluation if this is something
that we want to really be a part of Unity, but I don't expect it to get
addressed or
uhm... my mistake.. sorry... it should be maximized, not fullscreen :)

Could clarify if you mean maximized for full screen? Maximized and full
screen are two different sizes. If you're unsure of the difference, just
tell me if you can see the Unity menubar or not.
