Ubi-partman fails with exit code 141 in Desktop Natty Alpha 3
Reciving this whilst attempting to install Kubuntu 12.10 x64 from live
usb.
Have not attempted to install via CD yet - obviously if that dosn't work
I will be compleatly unable to install.
Possibly related, I notice the live USB is signifcantly slower than
12.04.

This bug is reported since 2010, it still exists. I tried to install

recognized and weird partition names get displayed. You can not get past
the partitioner, if you try to do so, your existing partitions will be
destroyed and you end
I had the same error. I was trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.4 from
USB, but partman (and some other configuration tools) crashed. But then
I created a new usb-key with 150 mb instead of 50 mb of persistence
space using Lili Usb Creator on Windows. Ubuntu 12.4 is now installing
without error:)
Still having this problem with the 11.04 Live CD installer for Lubuntu.
The error appears any time I try to use a partition & choose XFS. It
does not happen if I choose ext4. Attached is the syslog.
