is anyone able to reproduce the issue with latest unity? With a little
testing with the autohide=never I cannot seem to reproduce the issue.

I can't confirm It with ALT+F1, but It happens to me randomly.
Sometimes just pressing windows key and then esc brokes the
autohide=never setting. Ohter times, moving the mouse over the menu is
enough.
Then the window stays maximized below the sidebar. If I try to click in
the sidebar, it doesn't

After a session restart I can't reproduce it again. Maybe a
missconfiguration or something else?
