into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:

>From my quick test on 14.04 it is partially fixed. When using the drive
physical button the disc files are no longer shown in Nautilus however a
'CD/DVD Drive' is listed in the sidebar and also an icon is still
present in Launcher. These are not present if using the software eject
button.

nerdy_kid, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
