I'm going to wait for the feisty release, and then I'll update the system to
see if it works.
Also, after that, I'll be doing a clean install because this system as
passed through a lot of dist-upgrades between releases :D
I'll report here how the more recent thumbnailer behaves with those .rm

Can you try this in Feisty now? You could use the desktop CD if you
don't feel comfortable upgrading your system.
