I fiddled around and got it to work. In Compizconfig settings manager I
saw two new buttons, move window and resize window. I checked the boxes
near them and the "bug" seems to be fixed !

Since updating to Natty, I have been unable to drag a window around the cube to
another desktop. Instead, the window stops part way around, as though the mouse
pointer cannot go to the next desktop. Also, the movement is slow and jerky,
unlike previously when it was quick and smooth.
My system
planning to reinstall ubuntu again.. unless someone has a solution for
me to try.

Just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 x64 and configured with
Classic Gnome and nVidia Accelerated Driver (183 I think).
Everything was fine until I installed Compiz and Settings Manager for
Compiz. After enabling cube, I immediately got my windows stuck, unable

Check in System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings
Under the window management category ensure that you have "resize
window" and "move window" selected.

Hello all.
I got ubuntu 11.04 32 bits (i upgrade from 10) and i'm running classic
ubuntu, with cube and rotate cube. Compiz lost several times the number
of desktops, since i disable wall and change to cube. Latter, after a
reboot it create the windows (with decoration) but i cannot change the

Seems it could be a 64 bit thing. I installed 32 bit natty on my friends
and the windows could be moved and resized OOTB.
My install is 64 bit.

First you have to install compizconfig-settings-manager, not something a
convert would know even exists.
Then open the settings manager, go to windows and tick move and tick
