Normaly, in the situation of playing all songs in "Alternative" genre as
example (REPEAT OFF, SHUFFLE OFF, PLAY WITHOUT GAPS
Andres, yes, can confirm the bug only manifests for me with ogg files
(not mp3) when gapless playback is enabled.

Hello. I think I have found this problem as well, but only when the last
song to be played is OGG. The bug doesn't happen for me it's an MP3.
Can someone confirm this, please? (I'm Banshee developer, so the earlier

had the opposite problem:
repeat all was stopping at the first of the sublist (only)
disabling gapless playback fixed it too.

This behavior happens when gapless playback is on, so, as temporary
workaround, disable this function.
