It is true that java-package did not remove the equivalents properly.
But that does not matter in the case of the bug I reported with sun-
java5.
What I reported is that sun-java5-plugin should have proceeded instead
of bombing out.
There is no reason why it could not add itself to the equivalent
that's a bug in java-package; you need to manually remove the
alternatives.
