Also...
totem comes up with a more friendly message such as 'Could not play restricted
DVD as package libdvdread4 is not installed'

I have also tried this.
I placed a DVD movie into my PC, and selected the 'play in movie player'
feature in the auto-run pop-up.
After doing this, movie player opened, but an error box appeared stating "Could
not read from resource".
N.B. The movie works fine on Windows Media Player, using Wind
