hi,
would like to reopen because i just tested the latest daily of hardy and
ran into the described problem. I am testing with AMD64 version and have
a GeForce 7600GT with two monitors connected. If both are connected
during startup of the live-cd i get flashing colors in vertical stripes
on one o
Closing as out of date, since user no longer has the hardware and we
don't have sufficient info to troubleshoot further ourselves. Also,
this config doesn't really support xrandr 1.2. When it does, this may
be worth further testing - please reopen if all the conditions are met.

Unfortunately I no longer have my second monitor.. It's possible that
after Gutsy is released that I may have the ability to borrow one and

I get the same thing with the Herd5 feisty live-cd. I'm running a Nvidia
G-Force FX Dual head card. The loading screen fails during boot and
after about 5 minutes of waiting X finally starts normal on one monitor
and nothing but flashing colors and lines on the other. Both monitors
are the same mo
