Just for the sake of providing LUCID-Users that need to rely on PXE boot
with a workaround:
After the initrd was created, decompress it and open the file scripts/functions.
Find the three lines invoking "ipconfig -t 60 ..." and duplicate then several
times - but change the timeout to something ar
Same situation here - it only occurs when booting up lucid via PXE, but
it only happens - as the thread creator pointed out - every now and then
(5 of 20 boot procedures fail).

Could you test if that is fixed in newer klibc-utils and libklibc version
1.5.20.
ipconfig saw several fixes since 1.5.17.
A Maverick or Natty test install should do. thank you.
