Today again something swallows my message. Just a minute ago the
message did appear in the box just above (Add comment) indeed. But when
I clicked the back button that is seen just below the menu bar, it
disappeared. While I am typing this message I can see only the message I
typed 22 hours befor
Don't know the command for the Desktop to appear again. But so many
errors appeared when I used 'cat /etc/apt/sources.list'

Continuously pressing right shift, start your pc, grub menu will appear, select
to start in recovery mode and in the next window select repair broken packages,
pc has to be wired to the net.

I can see 3 Automatic signing keys as default under the head 'Trusted
Software Providers'. The 3 Automatic signing keys are - Ubuntu
Archive~, Ubuntu CD Image~, & Ubuntu Extra Archive~ . Don't know
whether they can be trusted

I have copied the output of cat /etc/apt/sources.list using
terminal And all the information appeared in the box seen just
the 'Add comment' box. But when I clicked to go back and again
to forward(using the arrow marks seen just below Menu bar)the
information is seen n

1 when I opened Run and clicked on the name list, the name appeared on top
( In the entry column ) is differen; but opens except VLC. Eg. follows
Calculator appears -- galctool
Disk Usage Analyser-baobab
CD/DVD creator---nautilus-no-default-window-no-desk
2 VLC in "Guest"

sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
Then run again update manager
