I think this bug is not acpi bug, boot system with "pci=nomsi" will fix
this bug.

I have similar issues happened to my system; it absolutely requires
"pci=noacpi" or "acpi=off" kernel options to boot up uder Ubuntu 10.10.
The system has been working fine in 10.04.
Tried the kernel found in http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.37-rc2-maverick/ and the system no lo

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstre
