I have the same issue using the alternate cd. I wasn't asked for a timezone but was asked for my keyboard layout. Keyboard was set to US English, money to $, paper to A4 and units to metric. Time zone was set to Europe/Guernsey! -- British English locale not set in Kubuntu Edgy RC https://launc
