Why "invalid"? Edgy reached EOL, fine, but shouldn't that be "won't fix"
then?

Mono crashed for me also while I was browsing. Also got a note that
Gnash crashed at the same time. Knocked me off the computer and then
immediately set me up to log right back on. Strange. This used to
happen about once or twice a day but then seemed to self-correct. Now
it is back again.

Same here.
Mono crashed after searching with beagle through deskbar-applet. The search
(beagle) was ok. I closed the beagle search results window, and after a couple
of secons, apport popped up.
For the record, I noticed that in Edgy, beagled wakes up and start
crowling every time the CPU is idl
more of the same . other applications running at the same time were gnome,
firefox, thunderbird.
The crash occurred while idling.

It happens for me as well on Gnome startup (i.e. not triggered by any

to avoid duplicates.
