Success! I used Lili on a windows 7 box. I had to reformat the
partition in windows as fat32 to make windows happy. It was already
formatted as fat 32 on my linux box, but windows was throwing a fit
about it. I did not have to re-open it in Startup disk creator, to make
it work. I just plugged
Same thing with unetbootin. If I didn't dislike windows so much, I'd
give up at this point. This needs fixed!

10.10 Boot error when boo
I have the same issue, but I created the usb stick on one desktop with
Ubuntu 10.10, and I cannot boot it on my other desktop. Stick boots
fine on the originating pc. When booting on the victim pc, I get the
message "Boot error". No prompt.
Originating PC is an old P4
Victim is
Gigabyte G
