Charlie Kravetz: No, you do not want to send your Ubuntu-only bugs upstream as
they are not upstream bugs.
Instead you want to check first for duplicates in Launchpad, and maybe just fix
the bugs in Ubuntu instead.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/G
Even when unchecking the box for compress the weekends under the
calendar options, it still doesn't work. I tried to edit it also in
gconf-editor>apps>evolution>caledar>display>compress_weekends but
changing that setting does nothing. This is definitely a bug.

No the whole Calendar thing seems to be a real mess this time around I
had to quit using it, because it crashed often too!
