This is still unfixed in Edgy...
The Debian maintainer already applied a patch to the debian package
which fixes this issue. See:

I attached the pertinent patch. You should apply it to a installed
ubuntu source package
apt-get source cedet
The problem seems to be with the semantic package.
I get this error when i run aptitude install semantic. I am changing the
package to semantic:
