I recently found qtcreator and other KDE apps (built with qt) sometimes
just fail to resond to any keyboard input and must be restarted to get
to work again, really annoying. I'm on archlinux.

Keyboard does not work in any open application. can't type till terminal
is opened and typed in.

same issue, I start a terminal window and type in it then keyboard use
returns to normal. Issue appears when screen saver becomes active.
