I finally got around to checking Dapper and the package won't add
gnucash to the menu because it doesn't contain a .desktop file for
gnucash.
I'm going to change it to fixed release because this is fixed in edgy
package and looks to be upstream too.

It's fine with me if it's marked as Fix Released. It would be very
nice if there is a note in there on how to "manually fix" it if a user
runs into the issue.

Which version Ubuntu/gnucash are you using?
'm using Edgy and if I do an apt-get install gnucash, I get the item
"GnuCash Finance Management" under "Office" in my menu.
