This was the result of an unchecked chdir() in an earlier version of the
package and has been fixed in edgy. It is safe to delete this left-over
socket, which would normally be created in a RAM-based tmpfs and so
disappear automatically.

A buggy package would occasionally generate this file under certain
circumstances. It's certainly fixed in edgy, and you should be able to
delete it without harm.
