Here is some additional information after I made an installation with VirtualBox: 1. I used the alternative installation CD (32-Bit). 2. I have choosen "Install a commandline-system" and "Expert mode" in the installation menu. 3. I selected "Install Ubuntu". 4. The problem appeared in the step "C
