I think Jochen is right. The test I just made with de_DE, gave exactly
the same result that benste and Jochen had witnessed.
Please see the attached screenshot.
I cant see a bug here.
PS: The screenshot that I attached demonstrate three tests in one. Only
in the second test I am a bit unsure abo
Software Center started with LANG=de_DE.utf8 looks exactly like in the
attached screenshot. So I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same
thing.
But again: I don't see any translation bug here. The developers decided
to include a numeric value in the string and we have to translate it
with a str
usually it shouldn't :-) but maybe -- who uses de_de and could take a
look at his software center?

benste uses the locale de_BE.UTF-8
Could this (BE) have an influence on what he sees – in contrast to what
e.g. Jochen sees, regarding numbers or plural forms? Or am I thinking in
the wrong direction?

btw. no metter how many elemnts there are in it's always "Alle Elemente" in
german.

Thanks for this bug report, but I think it's not a bug. The original
string is:
All %s
Therefore we have to include the numeric value in the translation as
well. Maybe there is a better translation (»alle %s Elemente«?), but we
can't just use »Alles« in this case.
