Hi, with natty's alpha 1 release around the corner, could you please
test Unity 3.x on natty to see if this is still an issue. We've been
working hard to lower the gl requirements and hope this this means
you'll get a smoother experience now. Marking as incomplete pending your
test results.

Same Issue here on HP TouchSmart tx2-1380la. Same video adapter. Running
Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 fully updated. No extra software. Just installed
I'm seeing the same random skewing, but not only in windows but also on
the items in the "systray".
I'm also having other video issues, as windows not get
ok, addingput it in triage mode then and tagging as an ATI hw related
issue.

Mutter works fine on it's own inside of GNOME, just not Unity.
Additional Information:
I'm currently running 10.10 Desktop x64, I installed Unity by sudo apt-
get install ubuntu-desktop. I have tried Unity to the same result on
10.10 Netbook RC i386.

Did you try to run mutter in the GNOME session as well?
Like using mutter --replace. Do you have the same result?

do the same, but I can't manage to get a screenshot of it.
