Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Is that a
local folder, an IMAP one? How many mails do you mark read? Could you
get a backtrace with libglib2.0-0-dbg evolution-data-server-dbg
evolution-dbg installed?

Hm, don't think this applies to just IMAP folders -- just had evo crash
when marking an empty local folder as read.

I can reproduce this now. If your looking at a folder and it says:
Refreshing folder (...)
in the status bar and you mark the same (not sure about others) folder
as read, it will hang.
I have a large volume of mail (~1gb) however I've waited ~30 minutes
