Okay, the problem was here:
-source /usr/share/screen-profiles/keybindings/common
+source /usr/share/byobu/keybindings/common
Somehow, your keybindings got corrupted and didn't get upgraded
automatically. Sorry about that! You should be good to go now.

I see your byobu version, and that you're running this on Ubuntu 10.04.
Do you happen to be using a Mac keyboard?
