I have emailed with the developers. And he told me that he would correct
the problem. So I supposed it will be in their next release. Since I
don't think it would be reasonable to ask for a package update just to
fix this I'm going to consider this bug fixed and close it.

Yes, you are correct. A single press of the 'g' key moves the
selection to the top of the list. So the only correction needed then
is for the "bottom" key to be changed from 'g' to 'G'.

Thank you for reporting this bug.
I just started up cmus and had a look at the man-page. Obviously the man page
is wrong since there can't be two functions on one key.
When I tested it G works as the "bottom" key just as you write, but on my
system a single g takes me to the "top" and not gg the
