I can confirm this bug. I have since not been able to start kde since
applying the updates on 15. sep. Current updates (apt-get update) don't
solve it. I have tried reconfiguring, reinstalling or removing ibus-
related packages (ibus-qt4, libibus-qt1, plasma widgets etc.)
