ok ok, thanks for your interrest in this package. I am really glad that we
have a solid and concerned user base for eclipse-pydev. I am already working
on the new package. It has to be backported to java 1.4 and there are also
some issues with jython package. So please stay tuned, hopefuly I will b
... and PyDev 1.2.5 is also available !

It is even said that version 1.2.0 does not support Eclipse 3.1 any more and
this is why the version compatibility number change

Yes, you are right, there is already a newer version of Pydev. However,
it depends on Eclipse 3.2 that is not yet ready for Ubuntu. We have to
wait for it a bit. Thanks for your interest in this package.
