Ah, I see. Maybe those driver will be fixed in the future. But shouldn't this VSync setting be available from the default Appearance manager ? (or at least in simple-ccsm which is the tool accesible from the Appearance preferences -> custom setting). Otherwise, only "advanced" users will see this.
