Hi, I have good news (at least for me!), the problem is the driver
foo2zjs. Before Natty, you can use it with my printer (HP Laserjet
P1005) and others, now with Natty it doesn't works anymore (for me!) and
conflicts with HPLIP. If someone can confirm this maybe we (ubuntu devs
on foo2zjs or HPLIP

Can you provide us some more debug information.
Please follow the below steps to provide the same
1.Open the file /etc/cups/cupsd.conf in write permissions.
$su -c "vim /etc/cups/cupsd.conf "
Change LogLevel warn to LogLevel debug and below that line add HPLogLevel 15.

Hi, the new version fix the SIGSEGV but the printer after a reboot
dosn't work anymore. I have to reinstall the proprietary plugin every

Latest hplip-3.11.5 is released now which has support for Ubuntu
11.04(natty). You can find the same at http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-
web/gethplip.html. Please install it and let us know if you still
finding the problem.
